  2. Explain the data that supports return on investment of pharmacogenomics implementation and testing.

  3. Recognize the challenges related to assessing return on investment and cost savings of pharmacogenomics.

  4. Describe the costs of implementing pharmacogenomics and resources needed.

Biography

Conference Chair; Professor and Associate Department Head, Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, University of Minnesota

Dr. Jacobson received her PharmD from the University of Nebraska and completed residencies, including a specialty residency in infectious disease, at the University of Michigan. She joined the University of Minnesota in 1998.

Since 2016, the University of Minnesota has hosted a biennial national conference on pharmacogenomics. The conference features renowned researchers, expert clinicians and scholars, and leaders from the healthcare provider and payer space, exploring together the most timely issues and challenges faced by those in the field.
